Minos- pulls us to the truth of what we really want is some king with divine access to the truth. Problem of democratic law-unwise and unjust- jim crowe laws. Problem of custom-other peoples have radically different laws. Pull toward certain, universal and unchanging law. Especially toward monarchy with divinely inspired law. Euthyphro is already anti democratic and claims access to divine truth. Socrates shows that euthyphros claim to knowledge cannot be validated. Knows all divine truths, when socrates talks to him it becomes clear hes a moron and doesn"t really understand. Divinely inspired law may not be available. We don"t know where we can get good law. Didn"t hire anyone to speak for/in support of him. Not believing in the gods of the city(impeity) Says if i was a fancy lawyer i could trick you all. But hes not going to use lawyer games that could trick jurors. Reminds jurors of play^ and it"s a reason they don"t like him.
