Air power is not defending the english channel, not the navy. Germany tries to bombard britain into defeat. Everyday large squadrons of german fighters attack britain, with british airpower attempting to defend. Hitler eventually postpones the attack due to the lack of process. Does a lot of damage to british cities. Hitler wanted the fertile parts of the soviet union.
