Baby is 20x less likely to have food allergies. Baby mustardy, odorless stools (1 a day), gaining weight appropriately. Needs 20g a day of protein calories extra for 1st 6 months. Iron continue supplementing otherwise body stores can be depleted. Over 2+ quarts of fluids a day. Newborns feed upon demand every two hours. They are getting enough milk if their mucus membranes are moist, >5 wet diapers per day, Milk is made on demand of baby. Use it or lose it, not determined by size, average 25 oz per day. Baby doubles its weight in 4 months, then 3x by the end of the year. Weight gain levels off w physical activity.
