Document Summary

Other cells and tissues: gilial cells (glia) central nervous system. Each of the cranial nerves have a name. Dorsal root afferent nerves sensor component for the body bringing in sensory information from the peripheral nervous system. Ventral root efferent nerves motor component for the body nerve roots go out to muscles. Fight or flight allows us to make that decision when necessary; allows us to make decisions. Rest and digest output pathway so we can take care of ongoing bodily functions. Discrete three distinct groups of cells one in brain stem one in the axel cord. Conserves and maintains (homeostasis) works as it is needed calms us down when necessary; turns everything off . Support glial cells, meninges & ventricles, blood supply & bbb: glia cns.
