In class today we went over important key points of the syllabus. One of the most important things is that the first ten minutes of class there are no electronics allowed. Lectures will conform to the content and conventions in principles of microeconomics, 7th edition, by gregory mankiw. This text is strongly recommended, reading it will help you understand the concepts better. You do not need a code so you can get great deals through the internet. There will be 10 homework assignments (each worth 40 points, total possible points = 400) 14 in class quizzes (two extra credit quizzes; one worth 8-points and the other worth 16- points) (each worth 16 points, total possible points= 216) 16 iquizzes that can be accessed through your myasu blackboard account (both worth 8- points) (each worth 8 points, total possible points =128) 3 exams (100-points each, total possible points= 300 points) (this includes the final exam)
