Urie bronfenbrenner: was an american developmental psychologist who is most known for is ecological systems theory of child development, hos research and his theory was key in changing the role in child development, founder of head start. Consists of the individual environmental factors that impact the child, family, childcare, setting, children she/he plays with: the mesosystem. Refers to all those instances where various aspects of the child"s microsystem interact. When dad accompanies her daughter on a preschool field trip. Those two systems are interacting: the exosystem. These are setting where the child does not spend time, but which i(cid:374)flue(cid:374)ce the child"s pri(cid:373)ary setti(cid:374)g. If (cid:373)o(cid:373)"s e(cid:373)ployer (exosystem) changers her work schedule to second shift, the daughter (cid:449)o(cid:374)"t see her (cid:373)o(cid:373) (cid:373)ost days (cid:449)he(cid:374) she gets ho(cid:373)e from preschool and it will affect her development in some way: the macrosystem. Is composed of cultural values, customs, and laws.
