In early 1960s, the idea that language learning meant forming habits was seriously challenged. People create and understand utterances they have never heard before. Speakers have a knowledge of underlying abstract rules, which allow them to understand and create novel utterances. Language acquisition seen as a process of human cognition. Do not do for the students what they can do for themselves. Things that happen inside the classroom can be used outside in the real world. Teacher in this method will not praise a lot of students. Don"t need the teacher all about internal satisfaction. Have awareness of your skills to self-correct. An affective-humanistic approach aimed at accelerating the language learning process. Language learning can occur at a much faster rate; inefficiency is a result of psychological barriers.
