Blame, responsibility, and the media role"s in the death of diana. With diana, attribution theory and paradigm repair have been used to analyze editorials in the newspaper. It says that mainstream newspapers tried to restore the news paradigm in two main ways: they isolated themselves from the paparazzi and tabloids in super markets. Distancing themselves from that type of media was important and attributing the responsibility for the crash to tabloid characteristics that aren"t shared by mainstream. Real journalism and news: having brought diana and the audience into the news process suggested both were parts that defined news and separated themselves from poor decisions made by diana and the audience. In this way, newspapers were able to relinquish the responsibility for the crash and act as the people in charge of paradigm repair. A few of them actually acknowledged the flaws in journalism routines and attributed responsibility from paradigm repair conceptualizations.
