Cons - negative aspects of changing behavior, barriers to change. Step 3 identifying the stage of change. Individuals are not even considering a change in their behavior. Individuals are either uninformed about the consequences or demoralized about the chances of change. Denial is very common at this stage. Individuals have a sense of awareness about their problem behavior.
