Go into the theatre and do a safety walkthrough: fire exits, fire related objects. Sets cannot be built near the fire curtain: performer safety. No loose screws, garbage, etc: tech safety, gaff. Black is used to tape up objects. Do not use white tape onstage, people will see it: safety all ramps and steps in the theatre, wash your hands after handling glow tape. Need to anticipate where they would need glow tape. Put on both sides of the stage for asms. Anything glow is toxic: tide can also work. You ca(cid:374) o(cid:374)ly use fluoresce(cid:374)t tape (cid:449)he(cid:374) the audie(cid:374)ce ca(cid:374)"t see it. Rule of thumb, upstage: make corners with the tape. Placement spike (onstage, make a t shape) Co(cid:374)tact (cid:449)ith thi(cid:374)gs i(cid:374) the space, thi(cid:374)gs that do(cid:374)"t (cid:373)o(cid:448)e: must find anchors. Spike the fly: fluorescent light is okay to use, spike the part, then use a spiral. If not using the fly rail, you can use some of that space.
