Panhellenic: all the greek city-states come together for olympics & games at delphi. Between helladic and the geometric period there were the greek dark ages. The many legs of the horses indicates how many horses are next to each other. Man on krater for symposium, woman on amphora. His hand was once attached to a spear buried in the side of the centaur. Almost an uncanny doubling of himself, little smaller and a little monstrous. Items imported from abroad that starts to articulate themselves in the greek. Later become much more dense, rosettes become denser and suck up all negative space.
