Stories need to be edited before being placed in indesign. No spaces between paragraphs (only do hard enter) Only one space after periods (saves space) Indesign > preferences > units & increments > put inches for horizontal and vertical. File > new > document change margins to 0. 25 in each. Top left hand corner (most story font is 9-10 points) Select tool fx (drop shadow, etc. ) Save images at a slightly higher dpi than required. Make a textbox using the text tool. To bleed, click, drag selection off page. Doesn"t have to be exactly in margins. Command + a select all text (even unseen text) Align to bottoms (check for extra spaces at end of story; get rid of red +) Use textbox tool and click file > place to insert photo. Object > fitting > fit frame proportionately. Add rule around photo with buttons at top. Bottom lines need to be even do this last.
