Pleural rub : creaking on inspiration and expiration, caused by lack of lubrication. Stridor : upper airway whistling caused by airway constriction. Common cold: viral infection, antibiotics will not cure, more than 200 different possible viruses, rhinitis, congestion, sneezing, coughing, supportive care, hydration, symptom relief. Sinusitis : inflammation of mucous membrane lining of the sinuses: obstruction vs infection, facial pressure, loss of smell, congestion, treatment : steroids, nasal rinse, antibiotics. Inflammation of the tonsils (part of the lymphatic system)
