Ice caps contain about 2% of all earth"s water, lakes and streams comprise only 0. 01% of fresh water (of which a large amount is frozen), more water is found underground. Millions of people die each year from lack of clean drinking water (known as microbial contamination) The water cycle: water is heated which gives way to evaporation.
