19th century ir has a very mixed impact for normal people. Middle of 19th century of what to do with the poverty of the working class. I. e. child laborers, maybe we should do something about this . Nationalism is also the great fight as well. Liberal paradox where do you do when a world where people are created equal but in daily life they are not equal, now they are also become less equal even though. Even now it is harder to become equal even when social mobility was prohibited by law. After ir humans are creating a lot of stuff at high rates, so people start to think that they could be equal. Poverty is finally seen as a social problem, a problem of distribution, there is plenty of wealth to go around but there is a way to be equal.
