Actual filing of complaints by aapis: only 2% in private and 3. 26% in governments. Found that race is more significant than gender in advancement. White men had 260% advantage over asian women. White women 150% advantage over asian american women. Stereotype: quiet, hardworking, family oriented, technically oriented, good at math and science. Leads to thinking aas lack leadership, also passive, non-confrontational and antisocial. Asian americans 28% make-up top 20 business schools. Problems: internal network, corporate culture, intentional and unintentional. Argument for affirmative action (diversity and mentorship programs)
