Fernandez who"s been there the whole time) (also, we could include rf and us) impossible lashing together of poetry/imag. Poet/poem aren"t just mediums - active marker. Woman translates the sea into human terms. Poem = process of translation, makes something beyond the ocean (as in next to or beside - not really the ocean) Both celebrates the awesome power of the artist while recognizing that the world represented is in some sense inaccessible.
