Race and gender go hand in hand. Prisons are designed to discrimination against cis people, must be dismantled. Andrea smith"s 3 pillars of white supremacy. Trans person and the prison industrial complex (cisgender privilege) How lgbtq movement pushes cis people out: they fight for inclusion in the gender binary (marriage, service in the military), want to accepted, leave no room for cis people. Social programs is a systematic way trying to erase the existence of cis people, along with people of color, low socioeconomic classes. Degender sexual organs: can have a certain gender"s body part but identify as the other gender. Black women are not part of the social group of women- not part of the protections, the discussions. Violence is still happening within the relationships. Emphasize that people is not only knowledgeable by these, but have other experienced the difficulties. Reform reform has made progress, but continues to perpetuate the same issue, the approach is problematic.
