Document Summary

So x axis is the frequency and the y axis is the volume or energy or amplitude but we"re looking at the wave itself. Time is represented frame by frame on the graph. Frequency domain analysis sonogram has time amplitude and frequency. Frequency is bottom to top and the amplitude is the color. So darker colors are loud and the lighter are softer turns. Oscillate amount of times per second to generate a recipe. Oscillate a number of times per second you get a certain frequency. If you draw more partials, you get a different wavelength and depending on how many times you oscillate, you hear that fundamental and that sound so get the same frequency, but they"re all different in timber! So you can design and wave and oscillate a certain number of times to hear that pitch, but with that color, with that series of partials, so you get a random melody based on the design and oscillations.
