Depends on conditions, do red flags exist in case history: make a recommendation. Steroids may be used if vision decreased : betadine treatment. Sterilize the ocular surface if there"s infection. Anesthetic, irrigate with betadine, then saline to flush the eyes. We can have a 3 week course of disease, sometimes shorter and sometimes longer/more. No longer contagious, won"t spread to friends.
