Jose is good at match, has a lot of academic promise, but he moves around a lot with his family and that"s difficult on him. Moves to a cheaper place and then in a safer area. Some drop out of school, some go to college. Jose would get food only at school cause his family can"t afford food. Life paths diverge, but then converge later. Suddenly find out that they are undocumented and they cant do all the things that their friends are doing, like getting a drivers license, going to the bar on friday, or sometime going to college. So they now also have to keep up with a bunch of lies, cause they cant tell the truth to their friends. Sometimes they also feel a little mad to their parents for never telling them.
