I enjoy how conquergood discusses about knowledge from different dimensions. Knowledge is a combination of empirical observation and critical analysis. Some people learn a skill from the surface, which is knowing that. Others learn knowledge thoroughly, which is known as knowing how. another type of knowledge is called subjugated knowledge, which means all the knowledge at the bottom of the hierarchy. The limitation of literacy hinders the opportunity for people from lower class to analyze, to compensate, to examine the texts. With texts inaccessible, the only way they learn is through oral knowledge.
