The first two social sciences were anthropology and sociology. And can be defined in three ways: mental, material, behavioral. Mental is everything in your head. Material dances, music, instruments, art, clothing, jewelry, houses, tools, technology. Anything physical, and tangible that is made through culture. This is a 48-hour story that the q"eqchi" people acted out to tell the history of the tribe. The q"eqchi" people asked dr. warner to ask the un for money to buy the fabrics to make the costumes for the dance. Once they got the material they made all of the clothes by hand they even cut the mirrors themselves to embellish the clothes that they were going to wear. They carved masks to look like spanish conquistadors. Organized life into groups social structure. Part of the larger concept of culture: zoo in copenhagen exhibits new primates (fully clothed)
