The scienti c method is used to test theories and hypotheses or to gather information about something unknown. Hypotheses must make predictions that can show to be correct or incorrect. Additional observations or experiments support or reject a hypothesis. A theory is a broad explanation of some aspect of the natural world that is substantiated by a large body of evidence. It allows us to make many perdition and it can never be proved true. Taxonomy is the grouping of species based on common ancestry. Prokaryotes genetic info is free, no nucleus. Eukaryotes genetic info is bound in a nucleus. Living organisms are studies at different levels of organization: an atom is the smallest unit of an element that has the chemical proprieties of the element. All organisms are composed of matter which is anything that contains mass and occupies space.
