The loss on our loved ones is something we all wishes, not to ever have to deal with. In the following essay analysis, we read about a woman named annie, who faces a devastating time in her life to deal with the fact that her husband passed away. In this essay i will focus on the following things in this short story by dan powell. A part of my essay i will look at the narrative technics and mood in the text. Also i will do a characterization of annie followed up by an interpretation of the settings and how it affects her situation. At last i will write about the composition in this short story, and how it"s build up. Half-mown lawn is about a woman named annie, who lives alone in a big house, with many rooms. The reason why annie lives alone is because her husband died. Her husband"s bereavement was a hard blow to her.
