Caffeine is effective as a component of headache medicines. It constricts the blood vessels, relieving the pressure exerted by the blood sinuses on the dura. All three meninges cover the brain and the spinal cord. The meninges are continues down till the end of the spinal cord. There are some spaces in the brain called ventricles. There are continuous with each other and with the central canal of the spinal cord. Ventricles are the place where the csf is generated.
