It recent years gay marriage has had a lot of policy successes. It"s been legalized in six states starting in. Also, (cid:498)don"t ask don"t tell(cid:499) policy was repealed. There"s been a lot of policy successes and progress in terms of public recognition, esp. in major cities. However, there are disputes over federal and local law in terms of gay marriage. and urban areas. Public acceptance or recognition as legitimate citizens. Representation and participation: right to vote, descriptive representation. Equal status- educational, economic legal: e. g. , anti-discrimination laws, affirmative action, marriage equality. United states: 1% muslim: there are no legal restrictions on religious clothing.
