Authority: a religious leader, a parent, a teacher said something, they have authority so why would we question it. Democratic judgment: it is the power of the group. Reasoning: you think through a problem and you come up with an answer and it seems believable, but it may not be accurate. Sensory information: source of truth is sensory perceptions. Where are the gaps in what we already know.
