Psychological addiction: feeling a deep sense of need for a drug when you stop. Marijuana is often considered a psychological addiction; there aren"t physical consequences if you stop. Drug abuse: excessive use of a drug that causes harm to themselves or others. Addiction: a dependency on a drug despite its effect on health, your job, social life, and general well-being. Principles that govern when the government can justifiably limit the liberty of individuals. The harm principle: in order to prevent harm to others.
