Freud’s psychology of women was wrong (very limited), women corrected his
theories. Never studies healthy women.
Basic idea of Freud’s theories: there must be some unconscious motive for human behavior.
Tried to explain irrational behavior.
Psychopathology of everyday life: Term called Parapraxis: term that defines some action that
seems accidental but has unconscious meaning. Has a plausible explanation. Theory of Conflict: we
grow from dealing and managing conflict.
