90% of people that came into camp were murdered within a day. Those who weren"t killed, were singled out to survived b/c they could work or because there was a technical difficulty and got lost in the shuffle of those who went to go get killed. Step 2: entering into the camp were they would be beat by soldiers so they moved along and did not resist. Children would be with mothers and depend- ing on height they went with either their mom or dad. Step 4: kept alive and given a shower (delousing) and taken to the sauna. Those who went into the sauna were going to be kept alive but they took showers with freezing temperature, no adequate room temperature, no town. Step 5: given stripped pyjamas" that were dirty and had lice. They were either straight out of a washer so they too were wet and increased the chance of illnesses.
