The experience of rights as a test of readiness for adult status to relatively little emphasis on this except for some religious observances and social recognition. Marriage controlled by parental authority to individual freedom of mate selection. Little education for girls to equalization of educational opportunity for both sexes. Educational advantages available to a relatively small number of people to educational advantages for all. Schooling the responsibility of parents/organizations on a fee basis, to non-tuition citizen supported education available for everyone. No recognition of individual differences among children besides physical structure to an acceptance that young people are different in all ways.
