Presidents are more managed and enclosed from media: nixon resigned over. Sitting president who"s staff members ordered the break in to the office (watergate) to retrieve the documents from an important democratic and used money from the nixon reelection campaign. The president ordered a cover up over the burglars getting caught: news room of the washington post premiere newspaper to cover. Washington politics: decline of aggressive investigative print media journalism. Process of confirmation: insisted on three sources not nearly as rigorous today. Print journalism worried about being arrested much less sewed about what could be done in print. What can be done for doing on the web varies from what can be done in print. Could argue that today there is little investigating.
