Modernist painting has come to regard these same limitations as positive factors that are to (cid:271)e a(cid:272)k(cid:374)o(cid:449)ledged ope(cid:374)ly. (cid:863) He has a bit of a different facture, more long strokes and feathery and smooth. Monet had a kind of staccato brush stoke style. Artists are going for a feeling with the approach that the viewer took.
