Review of 3rd mediation: all cause must have at least as much intrinsic reality as their effects have intrinsic reality. Descartes is proving that god is the only thing that could give him the idea of. God: changes it to their effects have representative reality. Descartes and his idea of god and the same amount of intrinsic reality: does not prove that god exists, changes it again to reality as what their effects are about have representative reality. God has more reality than descartes: believes it proves his point. Humans have concept of limited power and limited knowledge and limited goodness: can negate this ideas. Unlimited power, knowledge and goodness: this argument has actual doubt. Freewill defense/theodicy: god has made him with an in nite will. Thursday, february 23, 2017: god has made me with a nite understanding. With the combination of 1 and 2 it makes it possible to err: exercising will ways that are beyond one"s understanding.
