Every part of sky belongs to constellations, but the borders don"t overlap. Stars only look like they"re moving at night because earth rotates every 24 hours. 3 factors used to determine where something is in the sky: Meridian: imaginary line that runs north to south, passing right overhead. Zenith: point directly overhead you no matter where you are. Meridian crosses through zenith bc it runs north to south.
