Systemic anatomy- study of the organ systems. Microscopic anatomy- examine structures not visible to the unaided eye. Histology- study of microscopic anatomy of cells and tissues. Digestive: ingestion, digestion, absorption, elimination, includes: oral cavity, esophagus, intestines, liver, rectum and anus. Respiratory: takes in o2 & eliminates co2 throughout air sacs in lungs, gas exchange, helps infections/smelling (nasal cavity), speaking(larynx) and ph balance, includes: nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, lungs, bronchus. Cardiovascular: blood gives all cells o2 & nutrients, delivers wastes & co2 to disposal organs, generates and maintain blood pressure.
