You will have quiz #4 (12 points with some extra credit) on thursday october 22 that will cover genetics, inheritance, and fetal testing. There will be multiple-choice type questions and a few fill-in type questions. There will be genetics word problems similar to those included here. This information will also be included on your midterm october 27th. I consider cell division (especially meiosis) core information needed to understand this section of the course. If you do not know it, you just might be lost! That is why it is considered core information which is to be learned, and can be asked on any quiz or examination throughout the semester. It is to your advantage to take the time to write these you now as you go. If you keep up as you go along, then preparing for exams will not be such a big deal.
