Factors- infections, irritation and disease or parathyroid glands, family hx, dehydration, certain medications and diet. Sx"s- dull or severe pain in back, legs, or abdomen; nausea, vomiting, chills, fever, may accompany sever pain. Pain, diarrhea, constipation, sometimes mucous in feces, sense of incomplete evacuation, gas. Osteoarthritis- chronic progressive disorder causing deterioration of joint cartilage and bone. The body"s response to this deterioration is to produce excess bone, making joint movement painful and difficult, if not impossible. Rh arthritis- rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder that typically affects the small joints in your hands and feet. Good posture and proper lifting and carrying procedures. Lordosis- swayed back is an accentuation of the normal curve that is present in the lower back generally the result of poor posture. Scoliosis- is a lateral curvature of the spin that generally effects chest or lower back regions.
