How nature and nurture work together i. e. - schizophrenia. Epigenetics: the study of stable changes in gene expression that are mediated by the environment. Methylation: a biochemical process that reduces expression of a variety of genes that is involved in regulation reactions to stress: the active child. Selection of what to pay attention to: newborns with move and make sounds, their mother"s face.
