Duel purpose: chickens lay eggs until their production slows then they are used for meat. Takes 21 days for a chicken egg to hatch but are placed in the hatching trays on day. Takes 28 days for a turkey egg to hatch. Takes 50 days for a emu egg to hatch. The temp in the hatcher is 99. 5 degrees f. Once they hatch, the temp is changes to 95 degrees f, the next week 90, then 85.
