Processor: processes the program"s instructions, it"s only able to process simple instructions, the power of computing comes from speed and program intricacy, this is called the central processing unit(cpu) or the chip . This is found in the computer or the ram. This holds programs, data, and results from intermediate processing. Measured in gigabytes (gb: ram = random access memory, a byte is a quantity of memory. This is a type of volatile memory: this means it loses the data stored on it once connection to the power source is lost. Includes hard drives (hdds and ssds), cds, dvds, usb flash drives, etc.
