General goal is to guide the horse & control his every movement. Horse is penalized if the horse ever looks out of control. Never take your eyes off the horse in the arena. Spins- l & r (4 or 4 spins each way) Rollbacks- l & r (180o turn & pick up canter) Circles- l & r ( 2 large fast circles & 1 small slow circle in some sequence each way) Stop & back (only once in the pattern) Some include a figure 8 to allow for a lead change both directions. Draw number the order each horse goes in.
