They build a place called fort mandan and push on in the spring bringing sacagawea with them. L and c came across many hostile tribes but sacagawea helped with her baby and she found her family. Only had one death bc of appendicitis. Hunter on the l and c expedition and gets permission to lead part of the expedition. Eli whitney comes along with cotton gin.
