Relational transgression: violating an implicit or explicit rule in a personal or social relationship. Can develop in to unforgiveness: holding grudges and ruminating about offenses, as motivational responses to a relational transgression. Forgiveness: a motivational transformation that inclines people to inhibit relationship- destructive responses to behave constructively towards someone who has behaved destructively toward them, plays a role.
