Philosophy - no absolute truth or fixed value system (relativist) Truth is a dynamic series of ideas, beliefs, and other processes which are the instruments of living (instrumentalist) Engagement (learning to learn instead of for some other purpose) The only way to prepare yourself for the future is to learn in the present. Departure from the old, solves no problems . Everything depends on the quality of the experience which is had. immediate agreeableness and influence on later experience.
