By the 1930s, jazz music has become the pop music of the world. Music played by a swing orchestra modeled after fletcher henderson: brass, trombone, woodwind, rhythm sections. Composition arrangement and solo improvisations: most improvisations in this kind of music is already half-worked out beforehand. Rhythm changed from swing because of dance. Swing came form the term swing out which is derived from a couple dance in harlem.
