Myth 2: some languages are not good enough. Keep in mind this refers to countries, not population. What languages have the largest percentage of global speakers. Some language which do not fulfill a wide range of functions are incapable of doing so. Agricultural importance does not mean it"s technically inferior. The language or dialect spoken by the ordinary people in a particular country or region is often considered barbaric . Ex: southern accent- country bumpkin vs british accent- educated. Vernacular language is not the same as academic language. Some languages develop different vocabulary to deal with topics not utilized in other languages. Ex: those who do not have access to technology such as computers wouldn"t develop words for a computer. All languages are capable to vocabulary expansion. Languages evolve to encompass new topics or aspects of life. Jobs developed in the future need new vocab and names. Words that are derived from other languages and incorporated into mainstream vocab.
