Coaching/head staff (what most people usually think of) The gears marketing, sales, sponsorships, financing: jobs, daily life, salary, operations of each sector. Sports clip: what did the audience notice?? (add transitions and arrows to show the different parts as we discuss them) - basketball: coaching, ads, guys with headsets, people not even on the screen that makes this play happen. Iii. marketing- promotion; journalism, clothing, stuff an intro level job would do. Promotional efforts (getting people to the games) - ex: giving away t-shirts at games, free food, any radio ads, etc. Coordinating with other departments to make sure things run smoothly - work with ticketing staff, keeping others on the same page. Start as an intern, work your way up. Work more than 40 hours a week but don"t really get paid for the overtime.
