Adam czemiakow was the leader of the judenraut in the warsaw ghetto (jewish council). Emanuel ringelblum realized the jews were being terribly mistreated in poland and began collecting first-hand accounts of the incidents for an archive. The ghetto was eventually liquidated and the jews were sent to treblinka to make room for german jews. The warsaw ghetto uprising happens in the summer of 1942. This is the first uprising in any ghetto. The ghetto is burned to the ground and all members were killed. In 1944, the city of warsaw rebelled against germany. Everything in warsaw today was built after world war ii including the fa(cid:373)ous (cid:862)old tow(cid:374)(cid:863) which is really just a replica of what old tow(cid:374) used to look like. Ringelblum preserved the archives by burying them in 3 different holes. Oyneg shabes members were all killed (their activity was incredibly illegal) before the end of the war including.
